Members of MSB’s consultancy and training teams were delighted to join the Bahrain Women’s Day celebrations at the head office of Tamkeen. Bahrain was the first Gulf Cooperation Council state to grant women the right to vote, and women currently make up more than half of the country’s lawyers and government employees.
Every 1st December, the Gulf kingdom takes time to recognise the achievements and contributions of Bahraini women to the country’s success, and to reaffirm its commitment to strengthening women’s role in society. MSB Director Carl Jackson, who attended the celebrations at Tamkeen, said “It was a great pleasure to join directors, managers, and their teams for an event which was relaxed and entertaining, but which also provided an opportunity to reflect on how much Bahrain has achieved”.
