Labour Market Regulatory Authority Performance Audit
Opportunity All Bahraini Government departments are required by law to complete annual assessments of their performance, including strengths and weaknesses in their structure, culture and service.
Approach Between February and July 2013, MSB held confidential interviews with employees from all levels of the LMRA - including directors, managers, supervisors and junior staff – to assess the overall performance of the organisation. We also conducted a range of bespoke tests to understand more fully the organisational efficiency of the department.
MSB then presented a substantial report with radical recommendations to change the culture and structure of the LMRA in order to improve its customer service and value for money.
Impact Our report and recommendations were highly praised by the client’s Chief Executive and Head of Human Resources, who have since recommended MSB to other government departments in Bahrain.
