Air Arabia Leadership & Management Development Programme
Opportunity Air Arabia was looking for an independent training supplier with the airline expertise and experience to design and deliver a comprehensive range of training and development programmes for its managers and staff – from the executive committee and senior managers to frontline employees who are so vital to the way in which the airline is perceived by its customers.
Approach MSB began the programme by conducting a diagnostic phase. This involved one-to-one interviews with executives and senior managers (approximately 30 people in total) in order to design and deliver leadership development programmes for these two teams. It was completed within a 3 day period.
The senior leadership team clearly possessed the technical skills required to run a fast-growing and successful airline. The immediate priority was to introduce some new leadership and management tools for this team to put into practice in their day-to-day roles.
MSB ran separate, parallel development programmes for the executive and senior management teams. The programmes introduced participants to the Strength Deployment Inventory and transferred skills and knowledge in the areas of interpersonal effectiveness, cultural awareness, team=building, internal communication, giving and receiving feedback, coaching, problem-solving, decision-making and conflict resolution
Impact MSB’s leadership programme was well-received by the executive and senior leadership teams at Air Arabia, and was subsequently rolled out to frontline staff.
