Bahrain Economic Development Board Performance Management Process
Opportunity Bahrain's Economic Development Board required a new performance management process to support decision-making about promotion, succession, leadership potential, investment in training and development, compensation and rewards, termination and legal compliance.
Approach MSB began with a diagnostic phase which involved focus groups with employees and interviews with managers, executives and key external stakeholders. We then produced a report and presentation with recommendations regarding role competencies for all managers and employees and a skills training needs analysis.
Following delivery of the recommendations, MSB worked with the EDB to roll out the new performance management process. This was achieved through employee and manager workshops and review sessions.
